What batteries go into the TPS, im going to get this done over the next 2 weeks as I need a back tyre and my front batteries keep flashing up .

I will put a how to on here with pics if anyone is interested

Burchy

they are CR2032, but the ones you take out will have tabs on them and I haven't managed to find the exact same ones anywhere else.  There are some quite similar and could easily be "adjusted" to fit

thanks , I looked into this last year and sure I saw tabbed ones somewhere

Burchy

Yup.  One per wheel.  You will have to bend the tabs about, a bit to get them to fit in the TPS casing

the only thing is with the tabbed ones they all look cheap I dont want to be doing this again in 12 months, the untabbed ones are duracell

The voltage should be 3.30 volts with no 3-volt, so watch x purchase.

my angled tyre valves arrived today from murphs kits in the states, so my plan is to take both tyres off using some 24 inch tyre levers and rim protectors ive just bought, put new batts in the tps and try and refit the tyres myself ,  should be fun . !!!

Simmo

Are you having three Weetabix first. Let us know if the battery change worked out ok.

yes you may well be right , changing big bike tyres yourself is no mean feat im told , plus im gonna need a decent tyre compressor to reseal the bead which I don't have , but im prepared to give it a go and admit defeat if that happens.

well ive changed my battery in the TPS and installed the angle tyre valve and success

interesting note , the volts in my old battery was only 2.95 v and showing errors all the time and the new one is showing 3.3v, so there is very little margin for battery performance !

these angles valves are soooo much easier to use !

the new valves are made by the same co that made the originals ( LDL) so they are a genuine fit

Where did you get the right angle valves from?

MGvalerio

The human imagination has no limits, as well as the focus in this case, bravo Viper.

If only Kawasaki had the forethought to fit them as standard. Nice result.
