I've never experienced fiddly panniers but then I rarely remove them.

Bryn, that looks a nice location, your neck of the woods?

Rusty

Well I think most of us here like our Gtr's but what has always surprised me is how few there are out and about .... I see very few on a day to day basis which means there are a lot of folk missing out  on a great bit of kit.

Lonewolf

Nige, how many GTR's did we see last year in Scotland?

I wont ask you how many GS's we saw...... :whistling:

Thurlaston ford, between Earl Shilton and Potters Marston  ( about 3 miles from Mallory Park and 3 miles from my front door )

Rusty

I saw yours yours and yours .... Obviously I lost count of those Gs's flying about .... I mean who would take one of those from the souff coast up to Jon O'Groats ????

there have been reports of FD failure with early models, reports of panniers coming unattached and also Kipass failures ,

I think the very low volume of sales and the fact that unhappy owners are the ones likely to speak out is causing the high statistic amoungst gtr riders.
i had a look at the how many left website for zg1400 and there are only 1100 bikes currently on the road since 2007

Amazing.  20th?  To be honest, I haven't ridden most of those other bikes so I couldn't judge  I love my GTR.

I seem to remember a bloke coming on here a while back asking for information for RiDE magazine... A survey of sorts.  Can't remember exactly, but this can't be based on the information we gave him, surely.  Probably unrelated...

Anyway, back to clearing snow!?  Good job I came in the car...

They are talking  :censored:

I've only heard of one final drive failure

If they'd said something about batteries on the TPS we'd all be nodding our heads in agreement.

But what they've listed is a load of bollocks

Its all subjective. As OC points out there is always an element of bias in these, and as Winston points out, we wouldn't be moaning if the GTR was at the top of the list.

Hence why we have people on the forum who ride GTRs, BMWs, Versys, Triumph, Suzuki etc etc. Variety is the spice of life.

Absolutely!  Point is, we've all had and enjoyed the superb 1400GTR.  It isn't perfect, but there again - what is.
Four is fun.  Six is sex.
