What's folks views on this, fitting it to a magnesium coloured GTR, would it look naff or half decent?

To be honest I think it would be a waste of time and money.  One CF item by itself would look odd and a GTR isn't really the bike to start weight saving.  The kilogram here and there would be unnoticed

No problem, your opinion is appreciated. I've got some stone chips on the front fender which are quite noticeable and was contemplating a replacement part.

dont think the carbon fibre would go , why dont you just get your original mudguard proffesionally resprayed. a new guard is around £180.00 you will get you paint ready mixed to go staight into a spray gun from rs paints .

I'd never heard of RS Paints, how much paint do you reckon I'd need then for the fender, 500ml, more/less?

Rusty

It pains me to say it Steve but I think that would look pretty good ....

http://www.rsbikepaint.com/en-gb/colours.php          as far as i have been informed  kawasaki dont do paint ,i have used these in the past for my pearlescent yabusa , also had some golden blazed green aerolsols  to spray another belly pan for my zzr ,the matches are perfect .think the smallest amount pf paint mixed ready to spray straight forom the spray
gun is 500ml which would be ample for a mudguard, you could always give them a ring  i found them helpful

JMO but I vote for repair the original

Repair or replace the front fender it is then. I may buy a new standard one and then sell the existing one, there's no cracks or anything in it just some stone chips. It'll probably sell on Ebay.

Just leave it dirty. Fully blends in then
