Forgive me if this topic or a similar one has arisen in the past.  I flicked through a few posts but not quite what I was looking for.

Thinking of replacing indicator bulbs with LEDs.  If I do, what is the fitting type? and would I need to swap the standard relay for an LED one (some bikes you need to do this but don't know about GTR)?

Cheers

Yes, you'll need a led relay to prevent extra fast flashing. You need an offset pin lamp with equal height pins

Hi

You can get flasher relays that will work with normal or LED bulbs, or any mixture of bulbs.
They don't look any more expensive.
If the flasher relay is designed for LED only should a normal bulb be fitted in an emergency or whatever the relay will burn out.

Any ideas what the code/type is?

Boomer

No idea but the relay is under the seat.
The pic in the Service Manual on page 16-12 shows exactly where it is (#32).

Its just plug and play. Only thing which you need to confirm: is it 2 or 3 pin. Disconnect original and plug in one for LED. There are plenty of sellers on the e-bay and they don't cost much.

There are only two models: 2 and 3 pin
