Debs, have you ever took a pillion out with the rear bars fitted ?

Yes I have, but I've had to fit Vario Adjustable Pegs because you can't get your heel on the originals properly due to the bracing bar being in the way

The Canyon Cage on the panniers. How much does that protude by? Just thinking if it will impact filtering

Forgive my ignorance but the panniers are the saddle bags, correct? The Saddle Bag Guards look like they protrude more than they actually do in Debs photo due to the convex nature of the saddle bags themselves. From the widest point of the saddle bag the Saddle Bag Guard only sticks out about an inch or so, if that. They're very, very tight. I posted a photo below with a bit better angle showing this. It should have no effect on your ability to filter through traffic, though, as the widest point on the bike is still the mirrors. So if your mirrors can squeeze the gap, the entire bike will certainly fit.

Yes, panniers = saddle bags  :mfr_lol:

Thanks for the pic. Looks like I'll be going for the full set.

Awesome! Okay, that's what I thought but I wasn't totally sure. Sounds like I need to work on my British lingo! Almost nobody on this side of the pond refers to them as panniers (even though it's easier to say and rolls off the tongue smoother than saddle bags, IMO).

British lingo has always been better.. Maybe you can convert some over there...  :mfr_lol:

Saddle Bags are for Horses..

So that's potentially at least three of us who'll be up for the full set, Charlie, Kwikas and me.

I will be getting a front set in the spring if the price is right, prob a back set but want to see some in the flesh as I fear they may interfere with my pillions boots as per debs comment

Lonewolf

If a pillion couldn't correctly place their feet on the rear pegs would/could that be a factor which might attract an MOT failure?

Whilst you're speaking to him can you ask for my license to be cleaned?  :whistling:

I've called VOSA, it seems as long as the foot pegs aren't missing or defective which they are not then there will be no issue if a pillion cant fully place their foot on them as far as an MOT is concerned.

Asif I did ask if they could do anything about removing the points off your licence, they said they're only human and can't work miracles!

I'm in if they are pitched at the right price

And what would that be in your estimation ?
