Bonsoir Badaboum ... and welcome !
This is a great forum and I am sure you will enjoy it !
Where are you in France ? ( or are you now UK based ? ) ... I am learning / going back to school with my French after 30 years just to brush up and try conversational French etc ... I won't embarrass myself by trying it on you !
How old is your GTR, any photos ?

Salut mon ami!  ;D

That's as far as my French goes unfortunately. Welcome to the forum.

Welcome Badaboum, hope you enjoy the place and stay a long while.
I would love to learn french properly. I know very little but I get by when in the land of the great hills and twisty roads!
I should really go to night school like Rusty but I never seem to get there!!
My old man has a place in Gouzon near Limoges, where we will be descending in approx 8 weeks after a little trip Via.....
Chalons en Champagne, Besancon, Gap, where we will be taking in Le Tour for a couple of days.

Some of my favourite holidays have been in France, one of the most memorable was staying near the Gorges du Verdon, a great area! The lake is like being by the sea! And if sea is what you want you can have a great ride to Nice on some of the greatest roads since Napoleons time  :D
Best shoot, got to work  :-\

Welcome to the forum......i speak quite a few languages, but sadly French isn't one of them....that being said i am heading down to the Central Massif this Fridy for a week or so........hopefully i'll pick up a few words ;D
It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

I thought everyone knew "voulez vous allez se couche avec moi". Something we should say to all the lovely french ladies. We'd probably get a slap in the face, but hey, if you don't try ...

i was avoiding that one...track record not good in any other language, so don't think French should be any different ::)

Firstly welcome to the site.

I was reading an article some time ago that mentioned that it was going to be mandatory for all motorcyclists in France to wear reflective clothing on bikes above 125cc do you know if this is going to become law?

There was also mention of massive increases in the on the spot fines for speeding and the possibilty of prison for going 50km/hr above the limit

fatharry

Wierdley enough, i have just this minute read the same thing......and can't see and clarifaction anywhere (officially)....i'm off to France first thing friday, if you could shed any light on this, it would be a great help ;D
