Oil For GTR

What is the best oil please?
Any preference for oil filters?

My GTR suffered from poor gear change quality and harshness when engaging first gear until the dealer changed the oil (at a few hundred miles, free of charge) for Motul 300V 10/40. This made a remarkable (and instant difference). Now at some 5,500 miles, I am using this at every change. Filters are Kawasaki.

The cost of an oil filter is minimal so always use a Kawasaki one. As for the engine oil I previously used semi synthetic however at the last service the dealer used fully synthetic and stated that he wouldn't ever use anything else.
