Has anybody ever used or still uses one of these. I'm wanting one to assist with turning the front wheel for cleaning, finding the valve when checking tyre pressures etc.

There seem to be many different types at wide ranging prices.

O.C.

That's £54.99 Steve

Why not jst c;lean the half that you can access, and then next time clean the other half you should be able to do the whole wheel every second cleaning  :mfr_lol:

Or.....just push it

Seriously if you gently lift the front of the bike by the fork bottoms you should be able to freely spin the front wheel
BE KIND...

old scissor jack with a bit of wood under the sump plug.
Works for me.

I use a paddock stand. Have done so with all my bikes.
Much easier when the wheel is able to turn freely to clean, check pressure, rotate bobbins etc etc.
Even with the centre stand that the GTR has, it works a charm.

Alright, alright, it was only a  :censored:  question.  :mfr_lol:

Touchy lot you lot this morning aren't ya?

I did think about pushing it forward half a revolution but I didn't know if that would be considered too common, we are posh here in Bradford you know! :whistling:

Two words there don't compute, posh and Bradford.

with the bike on the  centre stand i push down on the back to lift the front wheel and use my foot to nudge the front wheel round to get the valve in the right place

Alternatively for cleaning, i use a ratchet strap (anchored through one of the car alloy wheels) to pull the back down

LW, would you like to buy some bottled air off me? :mfr_lol:

just whatever you do , dont buy this piece of  :shit:  its very small and falls apart and the effort to depoloy it is more than turning the wheel by hand

probably the worst thing ive ever bought for the bike

Lonewolf

Asif is it fresh air or compressed?

Viper I have seen those on eBay, I won't be buying one of those then!

With wooden structure with a rectangular base 15 cm height 18cm width 5cm, said Troppolo should be placed contrast between the oil sump and the floor, so that the wheels of the GTR 1400 will be raised.
