I have bid £15000 for it, if someone wants to take it up higher I can go again, lets see if we can get it to say £50,000

Alan

Good plan, if we turn it into one of those listings that creep up to £500,000 ebay may take some notice  :mfr_lol:

The seller has now responded to my questions and asked for an email to send more pictures

:mfr_lol: he has now sent me a few more of the original pictures, including one showing the registration no., my £100 is safe
Has offered me a buy it now for £2500.00 delivered to my door, with a 2 week ebay warrantee incase of any problems.

Lonewolf

Richard I take it it is a different seller from last time?

BigAlan

It's a new seller to eBay, I taker he will want the ash up front before he delivers it? That could be fun.

Come on lads lets get the price right up.

I just sent him a message saying......

You are a con artist and committing fraud... This Trike is owned by a friend and is NOT for sale.. You will be reported to the police!

Phill_York

Have you thought that they might know where you live and be planning to steal it to order? I'd check the locks on the garage if I were you

Spoilsport

I don't think he is committing fraud and can be prosecuted until he actually tries to get his hands on the money.
So all you probably just achieved is that he will pull out and get away with it.
And then he will most likely start another scam tomorrow.  :death:
He will probably be thankful that you warned him and ruined the chance of catching him red handed.

Scams like this are another reason why I won't deal with fleabay.
The later you brake the longer you go fast.

After my dismal experiance trying to get ebay to do something I have reported this to the police via 101.
The lady on the phone took all the information and gave me a referance no. and said someone would be intouch with me soon

SirToU

Sorry for causing so much hassle...

I actually thought you'd had enough of it and was selling it......

ok

" ihearlittlevoices " has got it up to 15100, lets get it up to a million , the worst the seller can do is file an non payer dispute against you, dont be scared !

guy has just blocked my 20k bid, so its back down to £1000.  just go up in small increments

BigAlan

It's gone from eBay, I had a bid of £15000 but received an email saying my bid had been cancelled. The listing has ended.

Shame we could have had some fun.

Yep, its gone.

I wonder if ebay contacted him, or the police, or he just bottled it or ?

keith

i regularley check the e bay motorcycles for sale in the newly listed items, keep your eyes open and you will see this scammer again ,he will use a different name, and will have a selling score of 0, i have bought several bikes from e bay and have always received what has been advertised, and never ever had a bad bike yet,,i have reported scammers like this before myself, they remove the advert , but after a while they return, generally  they copy bikes that are for sale from dealers they use there description and photos but put rediculously low prices in. i wonder if they have ever got away with this scam before ,and someone has actually  parted with there cash and obviuosly never seen a bike at the end of it ? so if we all keep our eyes open we may see this scam again, see who can spot one first!!
