B & B is what we're after, my daughters father in law live in Ilkley so can get the info there, but anywhere would be good.

Lots of B&B in Ingleton, which would be a lot nearer to the action, Plus the scottish lads seemed to enjoy their stay in Hawes.

Right gentlemen, well Geoff and Rog anyways, we are booking the Herriots hotel in Hawes which looks pretty reasonable for the 21-22nd July which as you remember is the Sunday and Monday, we will ride up on the Sunday and drink beer etc in the afternoon and talk rubbish as usual, then on the Monday if you could be so good as to lead five old guys around the countryside we would be very happy.

We have four of the same lads, ie me, Bob on his brand new FJR, Steve on his TL1000, Graham on his Suzuki 1250 and a new man Geoff on his Sprint ST.

I have your mobile Geoff so we can liaise on a meeting point nearer the time. I am booking the hotel tomorrow.

Alan, What a good do!!!. I am already starting to polish the pink armbands. Would you and the boys like to stay in the Dales, or venture up into the lakes?. Either way as you know you cant go wrong with the roads, lets just hope that the weather plays its part. Just need the rear gunner    to confirm that everything is ok for him. Over to you Rog .

Had a bit of a trial run out yesterday, a bit of the Dales, and a lot of the Lakes. I just have to consult the rear gunner now, so we can incorporate the good bits of both to make a great day out.                   Rog, we shall talk about it on Wednesday.

Two weeks away chaps, sun ordered and here to stay, this weekend were at Mallory Park so its a try out in the hot weather, then the next weekend were chasing you lot around roads we have no idea where, hope you have a route sorted out, no good you getting lost is it?

If there is anybody else up there on the 22nd who want to ride around the more the merrier.

We shall have to work out where to meet you guys.
