I managed to get a Bagster tank cover, and now on the lookout for a tank bag to go with it, but which one should I go for?

The plan is to ditch the panniers and or top box for commuting and use the tank bag, but still use the tank bag for going away on hols.

I have been looking at the Minea, and the Rider models, but just wondered if anyone had any experience or preference of Bagster tank bags?

I had a Minea bag and it was just fine if not a little expensive for what you actually get.

I went for the Bagster tank bag as wasn't sure if any others would fit the tank cover clips

I have been considering a tank bag, so I can leave the paniers and top box at home when the mrs is not on the back, may go quicker then
but its a lot of £££££ for not a lot looking at them.

Debs, the Minea is a Bagster product, all the clips are compatible with the covers.

Richard, if you haven't already got a Bagster tank cover have a look at the SW Motech products. They allow a bag to fix to a ring on the filler cap, thereby not covering up the tank. Its just a different option worth considering.

What one did you get Debs, and how are you getting on with it? Looking at the site, there are about a dozen to choose from............  :undecided:

have always used the Minear tank bag on all my bikes for those weeks and weekends away and the tweetie bag for the day runs and carrying my butties to work  I find the Minear tank bag to be just the right size even without expanding the bag, use to use the alpha bag but found that was to big and got in the way
getting on now...  but not as old as Rog or Geoff
