Test-run during the night... quite a big difference! And the best.. standard H4 with just 60/55 - and no "tumble" etc.

bloody 'ell thats some difference...i'll keep them in mind when its time to change.....just out of interest, are they easy to swap?
It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

According to the site: "Note: this product is NOT legal for road use in the EU"

I still want.

Wow, thats quite impressive, I see also that they are based in Wakefield, not a million miles from me just a quick trip down the motorway. Why out of curiosity would they not be legal in the EU?

Hans

Well... it's standard H4 bulbs 60/55 and can be swapped within 5 minutes! Quite easy task!

Not Road Legal within EU - since there's no E mark (yet).

There's also these bulbs that are apparently just as good and road legal.

Road Legal or not...  I dont think you'll have en "call-in" by driving with these bulbs....
Anyway - it only state 100% more light than standard H4.....

Philips says 5000k - and it really shows during the night...  it's fanatic fantastic!

I put Osram Night Racers in the FJR and they made a hell of a difference - http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/H4-Osram-Night-Racer-Plus-90-0SNRH4.html. (Norman, how do you attach a hyperlink to text as you have above? If I click the 'insert hyperlink' button it just puts [url] tags in and I can't see how to format it the way you have).

I thought the lights on the GTR are pretty good and haven't touched them although I'm thinking about uprating them ready for night-time circulation of the TT circuit..

Urm  ??? ??? I am not sure that is entirely correct - at some point you need to include a [/url] otherwise all of you subsequent text and comments become part of the link

There are only solutions

Hey guys

A hello from France.

One question : Can those be installed on the GTR without any modification (I know they are H4 but from a heat point of view is it ok ) ???

I found them on ebay for 35€ (shipping cost included) wich is quite cheap.

Another question : How can we change those 2 little lights in the middle ? When I was in the US I saw some people driving with orange ones..

Thanks

French 2008 GTR 1400
-> Motax back wheel cover
-> Phillips H4 Xenon light
-> 2 motorcycles speakers+amplifier+remote
-> Integrated Hugel GPS+MP3 player in the ''glove box''
-> Kawasaki Top Case
-> Cee Baleys Screen
-> Akrapovich Silencer

No modification - it's standard H4! Just turn your steering and make room for your small fingers - and then you go!  The small ones... W5W ... remove the lower cowl - two push-nuts - and then you have access to those beloved ones!  I'we seen many kind of W5W-setup's, ie. LED's etc. From my point of view I do find "some sort of" standard W5W bulbs "best"... and since you can get them with extra power build-in..... go for that!

For the front led, remove the four lastic retainers from under the front nose of the bike, which will allow you to remove the plastic cover. Then reach in a pull the LEDs out.

Remember that the LEDs only work one way. SO if you put them in and you don't get any light, take them out, rotate them by 180 degrees, and reinsert.
