With all the talk of punctures on the PR3's I thought I'd get myself equipped with a mini air compressor.
I know its probably been covered before, but just in case anyone needs one, I've just found one in Wilkinsons for 11 quid.
Its quite compact and draws a maximum current of 10A, so should be ok powered off the 12v socket. Its quite heavy for its size though, which is a slight disadvantage I guess, but good to have for peace of mind.

O.C.

I think someone else on here has also bought one of those and apparently they are very good

Thanks for sharing

Just be mindful though that on the 2010 + models the ciggy lighter adapter can only be used for appliances not exceeding 5 amps otherwise it'll blow the fuse. The cig lighter adapter on the pre 2010 models was rated at 10 amps. Not a lot of people know that as Michael Caine once said!

thats true, my 5 amp popped, i replaced it with a 10a fuse, the cable on the pre 2010 and post 2010 bikes is the same thickness, just the fuse changed, so you can safely upchange the fuse

Hi

A lot of the puncture perair kits on Ebay include CO2 cylinders to inflat the tyre, are they anygood?
Having 1 bike tyre, and 2 car size tyres would one inflat the car one?

The aux socket on my trike does not work, it was on my today list to find the fuse, where is it?

Richard the fuse is under the seat, but I cant recall whch one it is, you may just have to check them all. I think its in the box at the top left of the photo but I couldnt swear to it.

OK I will start there

Thanks

Had that particular compressor for at least 3 years.. Still working so recommended...

I've utilised the optimate lead hard wired to the battery, just got the right connector for that, and bingo... No fuse issues.  :smartass:

Almost the same as mine .. A Ring and it's very good !
