Fitted a Skidmarx "tall touring screen" to the bike last weekend, and thought I upload some pics to show it in more detail for anybody else considering one, as there wasn't a lot of info when I looked for it.

I must admit I like the shape of this screen better than the one that was on it, although I don't think it was a standard one.
It is narrower at the top but broader at the bottom and when you stand back and look at it, it looks a bit more streamlined and fits in with the angles of the fairing and mouldings.

The Skidmarx screen is 61cm measured down the middle, top of screen to bottom edge, which is 2 inches higher than the screen I took off.

Can't say it helps with wind noise much and provides me with a nice quiet pocket of air to sit in, but as I use ear pugs on long journeys it's not really a big deal, there's no buffeting of my helmet which is more important.

Also took the time to attach my sheepskin seat pad....http://www.lambland.co.uk/item/2594/genuine-sheepskin-motorcycle-seat-pad-in-black
and was surprised how much it helped the standard seat.
It looks a bit Austin Power'sy man, groovy, but I don't care when it's under my  :asshole: nobody can see it...

Have to remove it if it rains though... easy done since I just put a couple of bits of elastic through it and under the seat.

I like that Skidmarx screen!. Where can I get one? As to the sheepskin seat cover, we've got em down here in Oz too - Place called the goodwoolstore.

Definitely looks better than the other ones I have seen here so far.
And for only 65 quid I might just order myself on of those.
Pitty they don't have a picture of it on their website.
Has anyone tried one on the MK2 yet (2011)?
