I do get annoyed when the Police attend a RTA and then close the road for about 12 hours.  What on earth are tyhey doing in all that time>  It must cost the economy a small fortune

Burchy,

That tends only to be for Fatals, as we all know, there are very few 'accidents' most are caused by bad driving/inattention/stupidy/selfishness etc etc. It takes a long time to gather all the evidence to try to ensure  conviction, and you only get the one shot at getting that evidence. Even if the courts do let the offending driver off with a very severe 'Thats not very sporting, please don't kill anyone else.....'

But yes it is very annoying if you get caught in the ensuing chaos.

I know its for fatals.  There was one near Ringwood last night in the evening.  Road was still closed at 10.00 this morning and the queues went all the way back to Southampton.  Thousands of vehicles jammed up.  It CANNOT take that long to take a few photos and measurements and pick up the bits

Burchy,

I totally agree, but somehow they seem to manage it

What pisses me off?
People who do not know which lane to use approaching and on a roundabout.
People who can't be arsed to indicate.
People who assume that the 6'4" 27Stone behemoth walking towards them will get out of their way,... and then have the cheek to complain when they get flattened.
(Actually, I quite enjoy flattening those people  )
Anyone in front of me when I am in the car.
Bikers who won't nod/wave back because they are "too cool" or you are not riding the same brand bike as them.  :asshole: :asshole: :asshole:
Inconsiderate people.

I guess I'm not really a people person.
I like horses though. They are cheap and tasty!

:ohplease:
Annoying as it maybe, if it was you or your relative involved in a fatal I am sure you would want the enquiry and investigation doing thoroughly.

Mmmm. What pisses me off? Impatience and selfishness...

It was Roger - sent from my tablet waiting for some samples to transfer between hospitals!

It was a quick one as I was quite incensed by the ignorance of how complex dealing with the death of a human being is.

What pisses me off? Having a 100bhp GTR.

Thought you were living in Italy now Ros.
Derestrict it,..... fit unrestricted inlets, send the ECU to Guhl, fit a low-weight high-flow exhaust and get nearly 150Bhp at the rear wheel instead of 106.
Also give more torque at low RPM and rides smoother. You will lose about 1Mpg.

I'd love to, but it still has frog insurance and registration, so not technically legal for me to do that. It's extremely complex and costly for me to change it at the moment.  Although I am really tempted just to do it when no one is looking.................
