Can you design a small motorised turntable to revolve the camera automatically?

Now there's a challange that should keep him busy for half an hour or so!

Don't let these boys give you ideas MG, camera on your head, turntables, boots wired in for heat, how do you disconnect yourself when you want to get off?

Hate to see you falling off there'd be wires and bit's of alien parts all over the place, I'm scared to ask what else your planning...   :biker3:

MG do you notice a lot of wind noise or drag with the camera on your helmet?

I got some ram mounts to mount mine on the same sort of place as yours, on the bars behind the windscreen, as thought the wind noise would be too noticeable.

Hi MG,
I love the videos you make for all the modifications you undertake. Please can you put up the specifications for the centre stand modification? That would make a really nice alteration to my steed  :ohplease:

Hope the translation is correct....
Io amo i video che fanno per tutte le modifiche che si impegnano. Per favore si può mettere le specifiche per la modifica cavalletto centrale? Ciò renderebbe una modifica veramente bello per il mio destriero

- there were a couple of times (on my recent tour) that being able to rotate the cam sideways to record the scenery would have been nice , rather than the dangerous stunt of trying keep your head sideways for a long as you dare ....

- but having said that , there are so many things going on at the same time when you're riding that having one more thing to remember / worry about (ie , the orientation of the camera) is gonna drive you to drink. There were moments when I just couldn't remember whether the cam was recording or not (ie , whether I remembered to press the record button or ... )

- that and there is plenty of pull on that cam when its mounted on top of a helmet (you can feel the tugging). That bearing would need to be very tight , if not , the GoPro will simply turn on its own during a ride and you'll be none the wiser till you see the footage and curse in 4 languages ...

(ie , the orientation of the camera) is gonna drive you to drink.  = With a bit of practice.
There were times when I could not remember if the cam is recording or no.= Provide execution always on.

PCPeteUK  ////////////////////////////you can put the specifications for the modification center stand?= ///////////////////////////////

My stand is less than 1.5 cm in height from the original stand with crossbar required for the stability of the bike.
This solution must have in addition a parking brake.
