Anyone been to Prague ?

Never been before but I understand it's a lovely place to go ....
Myself, Her Ladyship and 6 others are booked in for a 3 day break in May, nice Hotel etc  ... not interested in Stag Party venues, whoring, drugs or any of that old shite but if anyone here has any recommendations as to places of interest etc I would be grateful as I always like the ideas that come from peeps who have been there before me !

There's a museum of sex  bottom end of Wenceslas square on the right, and near the river there's a museum of torture  ( I kid you not  )

Prague is a stunning city with outstanding architecture. You will not find it difficult to find places to visit and things to see, the changing of the guard at the palace is a spectacle not to be missed.

BTW there are some great (expensive) shops too ....you have been warned

i went to prague in the summer on the GTR , rhona flew there and then we did a wee tour down to Vienna,  Prague city is amazing , you need to do the tourist thing around the square ect . found the countryside a bit dull , not really that pretty or much to look at .
kind of place you need to tick of the list , found my hotel on booking.com,

70 E for a double room , with breakfast, we stayed in 12 hotels and that one was the best in terms of value, could have easily been a 100e plus . just check proximity from city centre, we got a local subway in to the centre which was about 20 mins, you may want to be closer

i used to go to czech republic every 3 months in my old job. i can recommend all the above. their is an alternative for the historians. Heydrich was assasinated there. its not advertised much but there is a tour terminating at St Cecils church. one weekend i did it and i can say it was very weird feeling.

Still its girlies so shops come first eh!
