Hi from California

[mtnbandit]

I'm new to this froum as I just found out about it on another Concours Forum here in the US.
I live in the Sierra Nevada Foothills by Yosemite National Park.
I ride a Black 2011 Concours, a 2007 Suzuki 1250 Bandit, a 2002 Honda Blackbird and a 2005 Suzuki DR650.
I brought the Concours in December 2011 and put 19,600 miles in the 1st year by touring California, and the Pacific North West. (Oregon and Washington)
I like all the bikes but the Concours is the most comfortable for distance riding.

Brent, welcome along to this forum. Its good that this forum is being talked about in the US, hopefully in a positive way!
Feel free to show us some photos of where you live and your bike, we all like pics.

Welcome Brent...

Maybe you could find out if theres a place in the states that hire out Concours 14 bikes. Would love to come over there and tour around.
Not interested in doing it on any other bike

Hi Brent, and welcome to this forum which is informative and friendly

Its always good to see new members especially from overseas

   Hi All;
Thank you for the nice welcome.
This site is, as you hoped Lonewolf, talked about in The States and in a positive manner.
I'll attempt to post some pictures of the area that I live in.
Debs, I'll check around and see if there are any Connie rentals in the area. I know there are many Harley and BMW rentals.

Well it looks like I failed in the addition of pictures.
Sorry fellas. I'll try again.

Brent, you may find this free site useful for posting pictures....it goes without saying that if it is confusing to you, then ask a seven year old, they will manage it in a matter of minutes..

Welcome Brent, as others have already stated we really enjoy hearing from owners outside the UK. We have a pretty international membership and try to be all inclusive.
I always find that if I have any problems posting stuff, especially photos, then I just get my grandkids to do it for me

Hello Brent ....
Another member from a long way away .... Great to have you onboard. As you can tell we are all very jealous of the scenery and the sheer size of your place ... Massive National Parks and miles and miles of roads .... Just what the Gtr was made for !!!  Enjoy.
