Swapped my magnesiumgrey 2010 model with no brake problems at all....for the bottle green version 2012 versionand as my other post says I am now on my third set of pads in 9,000 miles and the discs are being replaced under warranty. Less than 4millimetres on them.
Same bike, same rider, same journeys...
Perhaps its cos of the colour  :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol:

O.C.

That's odd as it's well known that GREEN is the fastest colour  :mfr_lol:
BE KIND...

Not odd at all really, of course faster bike takes more braking to stop it..

Brake question now resolved between the two of us.

I'll phone Kawsaki !

I was hoping for positive results  but this not explain why so many have needed to have the discs replaced at low mileage.

Brake discs to 4.9 mm. done 16,000 miles and linings in mid-life.

As we know Green is NOT the fastest colour.  :mfr_lol:

Green is for eco friendly people and are the ones who drive or ride around in pork pie hats or wear stripy jumpers..  :mfr_lol:

You cannot accept Black is the fastest colour because of your age....

same here.. front discs at 4.9 mm at 7,900 miles and half way through the original pads  p.s I say.. "same here" because I don't expect the front discs to have any significant wear in the next 8,000 miles  most of the time, I'm quite easy on the brakes, but I must stress.. I do I've my moments :mfr_lol:
getting on now...  but not as old as Rog or Geoff
