What is this fashion to have loads of tags attached to your bike. Went past a GTR this evening on the A12 outside Chelmsford (Was it you, 2008 model, blue lights) at 7.35pm and it must have had a dozen tags on the rear hand grabs....

Sorry Don't get it. What are they denoting ?. Services ?.

Bryn

What do you mean by tags ?

Was it perhaps the owner trying to sell the bike and had put details on 'tags' so they could be ripped off by those interested at a meet ?

Plastic tags. The sort where you push one end of the tail through a whole in the other end and pull it through. A flat bit to write something on.

Sorry not easy to describe, but some bikes I go past on the way to the city have bunches of the things usually attached to the seat or grab rails. :ohplease:

i aint never seen that, maybe its a new way to sell , or subscribe people to a bike club ect, people look at the bike, see an advert , and take a tag ......

im sure its something to do with parking permit or pay and display ect, i mean when you do get a pay and display ticket , where do you put it. We always take a phone piccy of ours on the bike for proof, just in case some handy andy has it
