We popped into HG last weekend. I recall purchasing the Daytona boots for about £220. The were on for £240 and that was at the alleged sale price.

Is the market for bike gear really big enough to support a nationwide chain of stores? I,ve been in to HG several times since they opened a branch opposite DK Motorcycles (a bit cheeky I thought). Never bought anything though. The stuff looks fair quality but the styling is pretty dull IMO. Then you look at the price and it's always more than you think it will be.

I started buying Rev-It gear several years ago and have been impressed. Good quality, excellent features, great style and good value. So far it still looks good and nothing has fallen apart. I have a summer jacket and trousers that are some 7 years old now.

Hi

The good news is Hein Gericke are back. Following a successful bid by the German Hein Gericke Group, the following stores are now open:

Manchester, Stockwell, Southampton, Edinburgh, Farnborough, Gants Hill, Glasgow, Belfast, Maidstone, Preston, Leicester, Braintree, Aberdeen, Hanger Lane, Oxford and Chiswick

New stock has been arriving and whilst we prepare for the new journey and season, we're offering a massive 30% discount on a selection of items for a limited period.

Kind regards

Steve

I didn't realise Farnborough, Oxford and Chiswick were in the North East - must re-programme my Sat Nav

Oxford is going to be my nearest store which isn't too bad.
