Hi, I'm Daz and currently don't have a GTR but I have a test ride planned for thursday (Batley- apparently that's my closest!).
I currently ride an XL1000 and am looking to change for a GTR or possibly a FJR which I'm riding thurs as well. I have no brand loyalty, but I like both bikes, hopefully from the forum point of view I'll buy a GTR  :rolleyes:
The bike I'm riding thursday is a 2009 model, but I doubt I could afford a new one anyway!

I've seen the 09 bike at Autorama. I think they are advertising it on eBay at the moment.

Daz ... Hello and Welcome ... the Gtr is lovely and you won't be disappointed ... not saying the Fjr is a slouch but you just have to take a good look around this forum to see how pleased everyone is with their choice  :clap: :clap:

Hi-ya Daz,  :185: What area do you live?. Funny I was at MCO at Wigan on Saturday, and there was a chap who owned a XL1000 taking the GTR 012 demonstrator out for a spin. Go to MCO at you peril though, I went there for a test ride knowing that I could not afford a new one, and guess what?, Yep I bought a new one, they did me a fantastic deal. The rest as they say is history. I love the bike, as do most on here. Let us know how you get on. :banana: :smiley:

If you ride the GTR the FJR will be a huge disappointment.  Horrid thing in comparison.
