I went for a little bit of a ride out today to blow the cobwebs off baby... After and hour I decided to head back home.. Coming back in to Poole the traffic was very heavy so I thought I would go round the back streets to miss it all... I thought the next right turn will be good as I knew that way. I noticed a pedestrian walking on the footpath and heading to the junction. As I turned in to the side road she just walked straight in front of me without looking. I sounded my super dooper air horn to warn her I was there. Her reply back to me was "F**K OFF". hahahahahaha. Next time I wont sound it and run the stupid bitch over. 

Have you had similar situations with stupid pedestrians?

it happens up here too debs.. seems like holiday makers consider themselves totally safe in wandering around in the road licking ice creams and looking at seagulls

We all sympathise Debs.Pedestrians should be taught to respect bikes.I mean,due to the small target area,you might have to swerve once or twice to hit them.lol

On a serious note certainly in the smoke I think half the problem is that so many of these people are Europeans and I believe, and I know there are those out there who will correct me ... that the pedestrian has the right of way over there so when you shout/horn/wailer V sign them they are just incredulous towards you ...even on a bike with "go any where stickers " on it ! The other half ? Theyr'e just wankers.

Commuting up to London each day, and squeezing up the middle between 2 lanes of traffic, the best ones are those that cross the road between 2 stopped lorries and just suddenly appear in front of you.
