Yep, my wrists are red raw again... Forgot to put suncream on....

How many of you have this problem with a gap between your jacket sleeves and summer gloves?

Lol, this reminds me of the first time I went abroad on holiday.

Suncream, that's for pale folk, I thought. Asians don't get sunburnt.

So I spent the whole day sunbathing. You can imagine what happened next.

Indeed!  There's no escape!

In fact, I don't have a pair of winter gloves. The standard grip warmers are fine for any weather that goes on around here.

I have put a small tube of factor 30 in the "suncream box" now. I always wondered what that was for...

I do, however, look like i've just been in handcuffs for the last 24 hours...........

even my summer gloves cover any gap between hands and cuffs...

I wear summer gloves most of the year.
The hand deflectors make this feasible even without the heated grips.
That said these are gauntlet length summer gloves.
As for sunburn on yer wrists, I bought a pair of short summer gloves in the USA in 2000.
They had a half-moon shaped cut-out on the back of the hand and the rest was perforated leather.

So, I ended up with a half-moon suntanned on the back of my hand and the rest of the hand looked dirty for most of the summer. 

No chance of that this year. Effing summer was in March and we are now having our 4th month of April Showers.
