TingleyToffs

Hi All, thought I would join you Kawasaki lads as my trusty old Pan 1100 has been replaced with a 2010 dark blue GTR. I pick it up next tuesday and it feels like Christmas has come early. Only been riding a couple of years so will be taking it easy for a while. Just hope it does every thing it says on the tin. Off to Scotland 2nd week in July with the missus, weather permitting. Any tips or advice about the bike would be welcome, thanks .

:185: :185: Tingley Toffs. Is that Tingley near Leeds?
I take it you have had a test ride on the GTR, take it steady initially, big, big difference between the Pan and the GTR.  :mfr_lol:

Any advice, queries etc, ask away and hope you enjoy the forum

Hooray, another Northern member. I've just noticed you've pinned yourself on the map and you are where I thought you were. I live just down the road from you, any issues give us a shout and I can always pop over and help out if required.
Have a look at the meet we are having from 29th June in The Cotswolds, you are very welcome to attend if you wish. Almost twenty GTR owners going so far.

How you doing Tingly? Welcome, I've only been on here a month myself but can say the help and assistance, not to mention the humour, is fantastic. I'm just a little to your west in east lancs so hopefully see you soon. Try to make the Cotswold meet if you can. ( just read the above... Help and assistance. Same thing really, but you know what I mean)

Now then Tingly, my missus only 5' 5" and when I lowered the pillion pegs a couple of inches, she said it made a world of difference to her comfort whilst touring. Just a thought xx

:185: Tingly, hope you enjoy your time with us, lots of help and assistance if needed.(and it will be). Great bunch on here. If you do take up Mr Wolfs offer of assistance, and you need to visit his house, it's the one with the toilet paper hung out to dry, and he has a padlock on his dustbin. Enjoy the forum, and the bike        Cheers Geoff
What would you rather be   or a wasp?
