Glorious sunshine here at the moment in Bradford, so much so that I sense a ride coming on in an hour or so...

Get out there .... dry but very dull down here.. meant to be off to the beach in the pm for a big Diamond Jubilee BBQ .. lets wait and see shall we ?

Asif & I had a decent 200+ mile trip out to Whitby today, photos to follow.

Well, it's forecast for 94F here today in Bakersfield, California. 
I spent the weekend riding with some good friends on great roads. 

Saturday Jim Pavlis took me on some local twisties near Paso Robles.
About 140 miles and some real fun roads. 102F and glorious sunshine.


On Sunday Linda, Eddie, Jim and I rode up to Carmel (of Clint Eastwood fame) and then back down the Pacific Coast Highway to 46 and back to Paso Robles. 280 miles and some spectacular scenery.
I borrowed Linda's old '95 GTR1000 (the Burgundy one with the white saddle) for the rides.
Jim was on his C14 (1400GTR), Linda on her ZZR1200 and Eddie on his C10.



I'll be back in the UK on Thurs.
I am NOT looking forward to the weather there.

Well Boomer .. you know what's coming don't you ?  Wet and windy upon your return .. the UK is meant to be pretty dim over the next few days !
However, YOUR trip looks great .. I went to Carmel BC ( before children ) and it was lovely then and still looks it now. Enjoy the rest of your trip.

Me and the mrs were at Coldplay gig in Sunderland last night. Christ it was wet.
Its peeing down in smogland at the moment. Summer is here
