yeah, yeah, yeah I know its probably been asked before, but I am getting on ya know  :mfr_lol:

has anyone used the vacuum/air loss bags as a form of compressing clothing for packing into Panniers (with or without HG liners)  :whistling:

I told that Touratech etc offer an solution ,, but I also beleive that Lakeland offer a simular solution without the need for a vacuum cleaner to remove air

a really good idea, we bought some that just roll up to expell the air, so no pump needed, used them once and then did not bother again as it just seemed too much faff,  difficult to find a decent size for panniers tho, yet another thing sat in our bike wardrobes unused

Spend money on a "gadget" or just pack lighter/better?
You can pack a shed load more stuff in if you just plan right and roll all your clothes up.
That said, your clothes WILL be creased.

For most of you it would probably be cheaper to buy clothes whilst on holiday and throw away the old ones before coming back.
For me this is not an option as most places just don't sell clothes in Boomer sizes.

Yup me and smarty use the vac bags... we got ours from Argos, they come in packs of 3 sizes and you roll them to push the air out....
