As we all know the 2010 model does like to warp its discs now and then ,but how many of you have had 2 sets warp ,  well i was enjoying the roads on the way up to the Pondarosa cafe in Wales when the old pulsing sensation returned, as some of you may know i have had no end of trouble with this machine , i am still awaiting to see if the tyre sensor s will be replaced , my discs were only changed 4000 mile ago and i cant believe there gone again , and yes the rotas are clean from muck etc. bike is going back to Millenium on Fri for the guys to check out before they contact Mr Kawasaki but i am getting more and more frustrated with the Gtr, yet again i got a problem just before im due to go on holiday with it
On the plus side if you ever want a crackin ride i reccomend the B4393 just of the A494  leading to Lake Vyrnwy loved every mile of it including the suicidel little lizard thing that scuttled accros the road in front of me

Mine are being changed this Thursday and warped at 2300 miles, I am getting the 2012 versions fitted and hopefully they will fix it.

Ok , so i big enough to hold my hands up an admit i wrong when i am wrong  ............. after last weeks ride with over 150 miles of the dreaded pulsing from the brakes ,i took the bike to work so i could take to shop on way home , i set of in morning and the pulsing was as evident as it had been on the last trip but it had also vanished by time i got to work !!!! i admit a warped disc will not just vanish ,once there warped there warped ,i decided to still take it to Millenium to get a mechanic to advise on what he thought could be the prob and for the peace of mind if nothing else, the only thing he pointed out was one of  the pads was  getting low compared to the others, .............. So my question is to you lot out there  what can cause the pulsing sensation but not be the discs ?? and no it not the ABS
Oh and are you able to safely  rotate the pads on the front to even out the wear

Boomer

Do not rotate the pads. This will cause disc warpage.

Chances are you suffered from the usual problem.
The buttons that connect the carrier to the disc itself can seize such that the disc is not perfectly inline with the caliper.
About one a month I hose mine down with brake cleaner spray whilst rotating the wheel and every so often I wiggle the disc sideways with my fingers. DO NOT use a hammer, mallet, piece of wood, etc.
Am still on OEM discs at just under 50k miles although they are quite low (4.2 and 4.1mm)
