NOT THE ROYAL WEDDING!

I dont know if this may be of any interest here  but I have aragned a 3 day trip to miss the royal wedding and advertised it to  my rospa group.

It is not a rospa event though, but simply a trip the  Pam and I are doing and hope a few like minded sols may join us.

We are in North Shropshire and the trip is to take in North yorkshire, durham dales, a short incursion into Cumbria. Accomodation is in a  good hotel on the edge of teeside

Patrick ... that sounds like a great idea and I have no doubt you will all enjoy it but I shall be working that day, in the thick of it, quite literally......so sadly, I for one will have to say " NO " ....but have a great time !

I'm shown as working over those three days, I'll probably get the Friday off with it now being a holiday but I dont know that for sure just yet. It sounds like a great trip though, definately avoid the motorways as you have proposed.

I would possible be up for this, but would need to know if any solo riders where going. my wife dose not like going on the bike! which means I will most likely be alone on this trip.

At present there are only 4 of us.. 2 couples - Pam and I one one bike and Stuart and Sally on 2 bikes.

I'll be prodding the rospa group again soon to drumm up  abit more interest, but regardless of numbers we are definaitely going.
