Just thought I would say hello here before I start asking questions

I recently bought a 2012 1400GTR, in fact I have not even had the 600 mile service completed yet.

I always liked the bike from when they first came out, but waited a few years for all the initial problems to appear and be addressed.
I have a Green GT model with the extra  top case, inner bags blah blah fitted by the dealer, and am now looking forward to the summer , and getting through the tunnel to Europe.
I am also on the COG forum for those who visit there.
I have a couple of other Kawasaki's, a 1984 Z1100 shafty in pretty much original condition, and a 1994 Zephyr 750 that is mildly modified.

Hi Doebag, I'm also on the COG forum since forever. Was on the COG listserver from 1994 as I am a GTR1000 lover too.
Welcome to GTR ownership. If you ever get bored I can recommend the run from Diss to Attleborough for some fast twisties.
I used to ride up there regularly as a certain Chicken factory was a customer of ours.
