would you run in your gtr sitting at 4k rev's on motorway's or would you be enclined to do the B road's,i'm doing a bit of both when the weather permit's.

My view after owning many new bikes would be to just be a bit gentle but let the bike experience different and varied rev bands just not high ones, so the B road method.
Some will say that modern engines dont need runnig in , but i think one should be considerate with  it during the first 500 miles.

Mogster

yup, run it on the B roads, load the engine without too many revs,  :gunsmilie:
She is like the Bumblebee, she should not fly....... and yet she does!

Its far better to run yoiur bike in on roads other than motorways. stay within the recommended limits, speed and revs etc, and move through the gearbox regularly.

I reckon a well run in bike pays dividends in the long run, others have different views mind you

B roads. I wouldn't be keen on labouring on the motorways for too long.

Spot on Chaps ... run it in on B Roads Tapps ... you have loads round your area .. not too many revs but plenty of gear changing and braking will do it nicely
