Hi Chaps,
I thought it was about time I purchased an emergency puncture repair kit to fit under the seat, just in case those lovely PR3's pick up something nasty.
Has anyone found a decent one at a reasonable price?
Look forward to hearing your views,
Mark

ah now see there are two methods for this .... there is this one that i have used and does work.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TUBELESS-PUNCTURE-REPAIR-KIT-MOTORCYCLE-ATV-QUAD-/380424451736?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item5893107698#ht_976wt_952

only problem with that is reaming out the hole does make putting a mushroom repair in there after a tad dodgey, in fact most bike shops won't do it...

the other option is here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DYNAPLUG-TUBELESS-TYRE-REPAIR-KIT-KAWASAKI-BIKES-/370591751091?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item5648fd5bb3#ht_1414wt_952

this looks good as it doesn't make the hole any bigger... but as yet i have not tested it and with a bit of luck never will  :ohplease:

if you do a search fer 'Dynaplug' you'll get the US site that gives all the blurb
She is like the Bumblebee, she should not fly....... and yet she does!

This is also what I have and I purchased another three canisters as well, I have not had to use it yet and hope never have to, but it sits in a pouch just in case.

I have this one too, and have used it twice. Once on my GTR, once on a friend's bike.

I did 9,000 miles on the GTR tyre (punctured a PR3 rear within 100 miles) after repairing it, no issues whatsoever. Great kit.

Search Youtube for some videos about how to use it, because the instructions are useless and it is not obvious. Really only takes 15 minutes from start to finish though once you know what you are doing.

65,000 miles now. Loving this bike.

Ive used a mushroom type plug before , successfully. I couldnt get the co2 cannisters to deploy correctly and they became too cold to handle. Now i carry a plug kit plus a mini bike foot pump. I also have a canister of tyre foam , id use it as a last resort to get me down off the eiger

Ohh thats something to bear in mind, thanks Olde.
I think I'll take my chances though and get the one in the black pouch, looks good for the money. Cheers for everyone's help.  :biker3:

I had a large x head screw in the back tyre last Friday in northern Belgium, held the pressure for approx ten miles then I watched the screen count down until 33psi when a large warning came on and into the garage I went, the damm air line would not fit my tyre so I emptied all six small compressed air canisters into the tyre and carried on.

Within five minutes down it started to go so off at the next exit to find a tyre place with someone who spoke English, right in the middle of the tyre it was, so he blew it up, removed the screw and put this T piece in with some brown stuff he covered in blue liquid and shoved it in, cut off the excess and it sealed.

Put the correct pressure in and now some 255 miles since it has not lost a single pound.

No idea what it was but I want some to carry around so it's off to find out what it was.

Lucky boy.com was I.
