Just brought a year old GTR from wheels in Peterborough, traded in my Varadero.  I was going to get a new one with the finance deal that Kawasaki are offering but got a good deal on the year old bike and it's only done 1100 mile and has lots of assesories fitted (Two Bros exhaust etc).

Tried a couple of demonstrators and really impressed with the bike, looking forward to going to wsbk in Monza in May.

Hi Deepingdj and welcome to the forum.

I upgraded from a Varadero XLV 1000 as well and have never looked back.

Congrats Deepingdj,

Me newbie too. First 1400GTR ride today, hire bike.

I rode the big Vara' for two  days in 1998. Very impressive.

Good luck with yours.
Just because many do it does not make it right. Just because many think it does not make it true.

Greetings to you all from your latest member. Recently bought black 57 plate from Dasad and so far every time I start it up it brings a smile to my face! Only very minor issues at present; being tall and wide, I find the screen to be a tad inadequate and the bars a bit low, but sure you will all come up with easy fixes to these two problems.
Better to be old and grey than the alternative!

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Sounds like you need some raisers and a new screen. What height are you?

Hi Kwikasfuki,
Thanks for the very prompt reply. 6' 2" when bootless.

You probably need a Calsci L or XL. The Cee Baileys Ultra Tour is a good one as well, although a lot more heavier and wider.

Welcome from a fellow newbie.

There is a Calsci screen for sale in the market section that may suit you. £85 posted!
