Don't care where we go
Don't care when in June
Probably a Wed, Thur, Fri and Mon off work (I'm a contractor so don't get paid when I'm on leave)

I'm gagging for a trip so let me know if you're up for it - either PM me or add stuff here

MARTIN YOU UP FOR IT MATEY - YOU NEED TO CLEAN YOUR BIKE FIRST THOUGH :)

O.C.

We already have a trip to Cornwall planned for June, and we're looking forward to that

I may be interested. Got a coupla trips planned, but need to get my money's worth outa the gtr and use it for the reason I bought it... touring. I am pretty flexible, but the 1st w end is the spring bh and the Jubillee bh, so Thu 31st May to Tue 6th would mean only Two days holiday to book off.

Sounds good.  That works for me.  Where d'ya want to go to?

Haha - you obviously dont know me.........NO idea!!
Short tour histoy..... 2010 - 10 days France and Spain. Alps and Pyrenees brill 200 miles per day on some super twisties. Did Portsmouth - Santander out and Caen back. Definaltly love that part of europe.
2011 Mosel valley 5 days. Pretty good but a boring dull blat back to make the train on the last day. I should have had the balls to tail off on my own and taken two days on some good roads enjoing the ride - rather than just sitting on M1 like road!!
I'm a follower kinda guy rather than a leader, so planning rides / routes not really my bag, but more than happy to get involved in planning and doing some leading if needed.

I came, I saw, I rode off....

Yep done spain and pyrenees - pretty cool.  Ferry to Santander is 24 hour one from memory.  I'm happy with that.  I've got a guy who works here with me at Vodafone with a 1300GT who may be up for it and a good mate with an Aprilia RSV Mille (we can laugh at him as his back and wrists give out on day 1)

I'm dead serious about going so intend to book summat by April at the latest.  Have a good think if you're up for it....

Sounds good to me.. Happy to do Santander again - nice ferry trip to start the hols. We did it before 'el-cheapo' which meant four big blokes and all bike gear in a tiny cabin!!! I am no millionaire, but I'd rather a bit more room (luxury) if was gonna do that again. Booked the ferries and hotels in the busy towns before we went and just stopped of at cheap b & b's  for the rest. That was mid May so out of peak season, I guess June would be the same?

June may enter peak season but don't much care.  No need for el cheapo for me but happy to keep cost down if necessary

I checked the other day if it would be an option for me to take a ferry to Spain and go from there to Savoie at the beginning of June instead going via Rotterdam.
Looks like they're already booked out.
The later you brake the longer you go fast.

Already booked for a trip on 16 June to Santander across northern Spain and down through Pamploma to Barcelona and then ferry to Genoa and up through Alps back to Blighty via Chunnel
