Well, I went down to Jordan Motorcyles near Leeds with a mate to pick up his new bike yesterday.
Quite windy and between 7 and 8 degrees but it stayed dry. Proved that my gear is well suited for cold weather and I was warm as toast even after 100 miles non-stop riding.
Today - I had to work.
The later you brake the longer you go fast.

Glad you enjoyed it Rog. Really enjoyed it myself, just a shame the weather could'nt have been a bit better but hey thats England in February. And really apart from the stretch from Shap to Kendal I thought it was pretty decent. Hope you enjoyed the "different" roads, me and the lads love those and we know lots more, so roll on the next time. Good roads, Good company, Good grub, lots of tea. What more could a man want. :banana:

Steve I spoke the pub owner today during our visit to the cafe, and It seems that all is not as reported in the press so be gentle with him, he actually came over as a really nice bloke. By the way he is NOT  there on Monday and Tuesday the 27th and 28 th. :smiley:
