Thanks to everyone that updated their Member Map info. I didn't intend to PM everyone but couldn't figure out how to just send it to those members who didn't have a pin.

Which then gave me a little idea. We have our regular users who visit the site regularly and seasonal users who probably visit in Spring/Summer. Because I sent the PM to everyone yesterday we've had the seasonal users login as well. So I'm thinking it's worth while to send a monthly newsletter via PM just to give everyone abreast of the key topics/news?

Good idea/bad idea? I don't want to be seen as spamming users.

Seriously I think that is a brilliant idea.

A monthly newsletter, a few simple stories of what people have been upto, photos, forthcoming meets, events, bike shows, etc,

Lets do it!! :biker3:

A monthly newsletter would be good, especially if you can get deals on new PR3 tyres etc, I am sure there would be quite a few people on here like me who would buy things they know there going to need sometime soon if they were cheaper.

Keep up the good work.

.......and can we have an update on inner bags equipped with flashing lights?

And of course we need to be kept up-to-date if and when ROSPA and/or IAM have exams how and where to use them safely.

[color=blue]Yeah I think that's a good idea, just don't lumber yourself with a lot of extra work...maybe we could have four newsletters per annum..make 'em seasonal.

I know from experience how difficult it can be to obtain contributions after a while
