Couldn't resist myself.

Lots of lovely snow.
Steve is  your house the one with the toilet paper hung out to dry, and a padlock on the dustbin?.
What would you rather be   or a wasp?

Lonewolf

:mfr_lol:  Probably yes. Its reet ruff round here.

Rusty

Well it's all turned to rain overnight and the temp is now a healthy 4 degrees !!

No snow here Mr Wolf

O.C.

It started snowing here at about 1O'Clock yesterday afternoon and was still at it at 8 last night

So its nice and deep and crisp and even ....now it looks as if its thawing out

There's never any half measures where the weather is concerned up here...bet its worse in Bonny Scotland, there was a very dark cloud hanging over Murrayfield yesterday tea time  :mfr_lol:

And who is buying you the bandages, and the tool for extracting the machine from up your a**e?
That was the wife's question not mine. I don't mess with her she was trained at Stepping Hill Hospital. :gunsmilie:

weel we have had about 6inches of snow here and we went out this morning in the 4x4, with a smug grin, to take the dogs for a walk.
on the way back we took the usual short cut with requires navigating a short sharp hill, and some berk in a BMW followed us!  :mfr_lol: well not fer long, his little face was all crinkeled up with misery as he realised he was now in a dip and stuck!

6" in Essex but it's all melting now.
Had to take my better half for an MRI scan in Romford yesterday morning.
Was fun digging the car out, but after 30 mins finally got out of our road (150 metres).
Took another 40 mins to get to Romford @ 30Mph on the A127.
Luckily we'd planned ahead so arrived 30 mins early.

Was passed by a 4x4 twat :asshole: on the A127. Only 1 lane was cleared and I was in it so he was doing 40+ in 6" deep snow.
Why do these 4x4 morons not understand that yes they can accelerate better and with their nobby tyres they may be more in control, but their braking is not that much better, as evidenced by the three 4x4s that I saw in ditches yesterday including a LandRover that was on it's side.
I feel sorry for those on duty yesterday (emergency services  :police:, breakdown drivers, gritters) as they undoubtedly had to deal with an awful lot of  :asshole: :whistling: :help:  :001_9898:

My car is a front wheel drive 3.5litre behemoth which is easy in snow.
Just do everything carefully and the back-end catches up eventually.

4x4 are crap in these conditions anyway.

I would rather drive a front (skinny tyred) wheel drive.

The big 4x4's (Land Rover etc) are way too heavy and once control is lost.............

RAV 4 or Freelanders with monocoque chassis are OK but the best for this weather I reckon would be Fiat Panda 4x4
