Just did my first shopping with the small bags in both panniers today and I must say, they take quite a lot.
Even full they still just fit in length wise but there is still space in the lid and on top. You won't get 2 in one pannier side by side, though. Definitely better and easier to pack than plastic shopping bags! I think it was 10 quid well spent.
The later you brake the longer you go fast.

OK, just parted with 8.48 for a pair of the small bags too. Based on mecki's experience with the small ones, it sounds like the big ones may not fit when full, so I'd rather have the ones that do fit when full, even if there's a little bit of space left (room for squishing some other bits and bobs in).

Previously - Kawasaki Versys, Honda 650 Deauville, Honda 125 Varadero

Mine just arrived. Bloody good quality for the price. I think I'll even get either a couple more spares, or a large one for the top box.
I would think (as others have said) they fit in the std panniers with a bit of room to spare, so the plan will be to load up with clothes and leave the 'bits and bob' in the spare space behnd the bags.
I came, I saw, I rode off....

O.C.

I'm still waiting for mine to arrive

Having read about these HG bags I went over to Newcastle on Sunday, took one of the panniers with me, found the bags on the shelf and then realised that the pannier key was at home!  Dohhh.

However the bags did not seem to be GTR shaped so I passed!

Patrick, wouldn't you have had a spare key for the panniers in your ignition fob? Just thought though that maybe you went in your car!  :mfr_lol:

just received large bags ------   unfortunately they're too big   ---- you can still get them in but sort of squashed in !   - better than plastic carrier bags though and at  just £10 it wasn't a  total waste !

If you have a top box will one of them not fit in that?

If it will and you want rid of the other I'll take it off your hands.

You're too late, they arrived yesterday afternoon...and very good they are too, and cheaper than your kind offer :mfr_lol:

They are a nice fit in the panniers, leaving a bit of spare space for other items

Thumbs up from me

Excellente'!!

brilliant use of forum, someone finds a bargain, alerts other members about it, mega confusion rains (from some) about which size, which leads to hilarity. Win win win

Gotta agree Mate!

This site is becoming the best I have been on.  Diverse, not (too) PC - everyone seems to know the line in sand, and busy - Not lost to FaceBook - Hurrah  :punk:
