Well, after nearly 700 hits on my 'Inner Bags' i would like to move on to the Kawasaki socks i spotted. Perhaps 100milesaway could help me out a bit. I wear size11 (large) boot, obviously continental size 46, or American size 11 1/2, these socks advertised in South Korea, could you please advise on what size i should order. Thank you in anticipation xx

700 hits!!!!!!!!!!!!And I still dont know if a large fully filled HG  bag fits into a GTR pannier, so you are responsible for creating a monster ;D. On the sock front the best I can come up with is get the biggest they do as to guarantee that you get your plates of meat into them. ::)Sorry thats the best I can do :)

Socks like these are good and not too costly and work well for me....as for Panniers bags...that's another story

What about some good quality thermal socks? Primark had some that were cheap and lasted really well but don't seem to sell them anymore

them waterproof socks really do work, i stood in a bucket to test them, the material is a little bit coarse and stiff so they are not the most comfortable sock, but they are ok. I take them out on long tours just in case the boots ever fail.

At the moment the most tempting warm sock ive seen is the heat holders at go outdoors

did any see that mod that Valerio did , heated insoles through electrical contacts on his pegs ?

I used to have a pair of those waterproof socks and they were indeed , erm waterproof, but I found them REALLY cold and would only recommend them for  summer use.

At nearly £29 I'd expect them to work

G Wax on my boots and any good quality sock...never hada any problems, my feet remain both warm and dry

:agree:  Well waxed boots and maybe a couple of pairs of thin socks and my little piggies have always been cosy and warm

bargain off the week on the heat holder socks at Go outdoors,

website says £4.01 , in store says £10 but a 3 for 2 , i pointed out the error and they honoured the website price and also the 3 for 2, so I got 3 pairs for £8.02 and I didnt need their loyalty card

get down there and fill your boots , literally
