Mecki, did a Brit steal your girlfriend or something  :)

I don't know why you guys are picking on me just because I don't like riding 'The Lakes' in summer and prefer to roam the Alps instead.
Do I detect a hint of jealousy?  ;)
The later you brake the longer you go fast.

Lonewolf, you have no need to apologise, thank you anyway.

I'm not offended by meckis posts, he's is fully entitled to his opinion, its all part of 'life on a forum', any further comment from me would probably only have served to fuel the situation.

Good to see that you made it to Wast Water yesterday, I was wondering if you got there as the weather really wasn't too good at all. Hopefully better weather isn't too far away.

The pictures are great - I particularly like the second one its kinda moody.

The offer of a brew is always there to anyone who is in the area  :)

It was a decent trip, I'll return when the weather improves! I like the warmth.  ;D   Something like this will do just fine.  ;)

Might even get there really early one morning and catch the detail in the sky unfolding like in this one.  ;)

Hi guys, please see 1st post poor Martin is just after some route suggestions in the British Isles. He PM'd me on http://www.zggtr.org/index.php and I suggested he posted here.

I could help with N England but not with the South or Ireland  :)

Ok .... I shall get the map book out later with some suggestions for the "south" bit, although he seems to think he is going to wizz through Brighton Midhurst and Winchester .... does he know how busy it is down here in the South ? Seriously ... it may take him longer than he thinks ... even on a bike ! Get back to you later !  ;D
