My poor GTR is parked outside with a cover on. The shed gets built next week.

I wouldn't be cleaning the bike in this weather. Its effing freezing here. Looks like -3

It was chilly.  I'm just hoping the water on the floor disappears or it'll freeze tonight and make things interesting at 6:30 in the morning  :o

Winter Sunday's are for working I'm afraid,  :(  but weekdays are for fun.  8)  Clifton, as I'm sure Kwikasfuki will know where that is was -5.5 last night  :o  Brrrr!

Like it 1KA ... washed the bike earlier ... down ere in the souffff it's sunny but still very cold ....  my brother in law popped over on his new Triumph Sprint ... nice but not for me .... for a cuppa and a chat, then been out for an hours' run, and now just off for a doggy walk with Mrs Rusty and back for a large Roasty Chicken about 7 ish ........love it  ;D ;D

Just 1 bike to wash?

How about 3.  My GTR, My Z750 and SWMBO's ER6.....

This weekend, I'm changing handlebars, and tyres on the Z and will be washing the GTR and Z again! Why - cause they got ridden.

Bikes are designed to be ridden!  They are not ornaments to be covered over and not used.  But if used, they had to be taken care of.

You are soooo right Neil, "bikes are made to be ridden", which is why I've recently sold some of my beloved Kawasaki Triples.  :(

I decided that even if I wore my pants outside my trousers , sprayed a big 'S' on my chest and donned a cape I could still omly ride one at once  ;D

So now I'm down to 4, plus one that I'm building, when it warms up in the Rev Shed that is  ;)

winter sundays are for the full english freshly prepared by my significant other half ;D then if I need to go out, it's the car with the heated seat on setting 5 :) my half century bones don't half ache when they get cold :( and that was through years of riding on dam cold and wet winter mornings.
getting on now...  but not as old as Rog or Geoff

Lie in until 12:30 (I have a cold  :(), Bacon sarnies, then a trip to buy some new jeans with a stop at a garden centre on the way back for a snack. Then did a "spring clean" of the downstairs loo to make room for our bike gear. This was followed by watching TV, dinner, then more TV (Top Gear is back  ;D) and eventually to bed.

The last 2 months Sundays have been spent working on the car, but I finally fixed it last weekend so no need.
It's nice to have time to do "nothing" on weekends again!

I spent Saturday doing the display mod on the bike, and Sunday outside house work.

For my sins I seem to have caught a chill. Had shivers all last night and no sympathy from the missus.
