GTR in town centre shopping mall!!!

Further to my posts on keys, I called into a key cutters in st.albans town centre yesterday. I got a Givi top box spare key cut (only got one when I bought the box 2nd hand), and a petrol/panniers key cut from the master. Givi spare worked okay, main key worked on tank but not panniers. So we walked back into town today and I called in (the guy who cut them said he wasn't 'over-confident' they would work, but they would refund if they didn't). Diff guy said ' bring the bike here and I'll file a bit here and there and get it to work. I said...'err this is the mall in the town centre - how do i get bike here?' So he showed me a side road that led to an alley right outside his shop. So went back home and got the bike - sods law, it was now hissing down!! Took bike upto town, snails pace thru the ally, with hazards on, got some strange looks from the xmas shoppers. Was very nervous parking bike up, the very nice paving blocks looked like they may be slippy for the bike in all the rain. What would have been worse, the embarresment or trying to pick her up!! Anway, before I had dismounted, guy was out the shop and trying the key, 5 mins later key worked fine!! Good investment for £17.90. Oh and TWO guys who were obviuolsy p*ssed off with shopping, came over and said... 'nice bike'! Oh yes I said, she's a beaut. Then VERY carefully walked it backwards and back up the ally, and I didn't run over any pedestrians. ;D  ;D  ;D
