Hello All,

I'm using my GTR mostly in Paris, hence it's really wide Vs my previous RT1200,
I've looked for different panniers side covers, thinner as it exists as accessories for the BMW,
but I can't find it.

Before I bring my panniers to a fiberglass specialist to cut it and reshape it with 8/9cm less,
do you know anything about an existing solution?

The next step after that will be to remove mirrors, build plate to hide screws,
and to mount mirror on the handlebar.

Any idea before the ????

Thanks a lot !

Why do you want to reduce the size? For filtering purposes?

Filtering? Not sure I get what you mean,
I want to make the bike thinner to ease the inner city drive.

Take them off, put a top box on! Simples ...........

Depends, he may also have a top box in addition to the panniers

If there is one place I would never take my GTR it's Paris.
I went through Paris a few years ago on a BMW R100R and they are all stark raving mad there! :o
That Russian guy on the R1 in the Extreme Filtering thread would probably feel right at home. :-X
The later you brake the longer you go fast.

Done the Peripherique a few times on bikes - wouldn't call it a nice experience, but it is a tremendous buzz!
