Weekend Winter Ride

Weather permitting, does anyone fancy a short ride out towards Stamford Bridge on the far side of York this weekend, 18th or 19th December? No particular reason, just an excuse to turn the wheels and meet up. There's a couple of pubs there where you can have a hot bite to eat and a drink.

The weather forecast according to the BBC is supposed to be decent on Saturday and even better on the Sunday in our area. I am hoping to get out for a ride.

The weather forecasters definately said the weather was going to be fine, bright and even sunny and yet I woke up to this,




How can they get it so wrong ::)

Well no ride as I had wished.  :(
Back to work tomorrow night for four days, lots of work to catch up on after being off for eight days. Then five days off over Christmas, I'm still up for a ride with anyone local if the weather by some miracle improves significantly.   :)

It's going to improve significantly when we land in Rome on Thursday evening  8) about 14 degrees there at the moment, it will seem like summer compared to here at the moment.

Nygie, sounds good. But first you have to find an airport where you can take off from! Whats the score at the moment at L & B?

Sweet, we've only had half an inch or so, s'all good at the mo. We are expecting a little more weds/thurs but I don't think it will cause too much hassle. Hell I'll help them shovel it hahaha
