I have seen people exchange there H4 headlight bulbs for a higher wattage version but I am considering a complete conversion to the "new" HID version, has anybody done this and how easy a job is it?.

I am also considering exchanging the middle two lights on the front for brighter Led versions, what type of fitting are they?

And, yes there is more, I want to add to the rear lights to be seen more, I have the top box brake lights but would simply like to be seen more by other motorists who are behind me.

Although I have has this bike three months and done just 1300 miles it's by far and away the best bike I have had, I should have listened to the enlightened years ago rather than keep buying Sprint ST's

Thanks
Alan

The middle two LED fitting is W5W 501. Get some quality ones. I found with these if you pay cheap, you get cheap.

The H4 you can get more bright without increasing wattage and still legal.

As for the rear I have Hyperlites fitted.

I have looked on Ebay and what would you recommend instead of the full HID conversion? the standard bulb is ok (ish) but i could do with a decent front White light.

I was looking into this.
A couple of my mates have put xenon bulbs in their Honka's. These are the same wattage, so still legal, but you get a better blue/white light.
We put a pair of these in my sons car and it is definately a better quality of light.
Presumably you can get these for the GTR??
