Tyre installed and i have worked out the route and plotted it, saved to both poi and itenary files, which is best do you think?

I done have my tom tom rider here with me but i can bring it into work tomorrow so i guess its a simple matter to sync with this tyre application?

Seems like a cracking bit of software.

Alan

I think the "route tracks" option is for devices that don't have the itinerary function (it will create lots of POI's).

Dunno about "never be  v fast"  I had an indicated 160 on the speedo on the continent last month and that with full panniers and a topbox.  Dyno shows 148 rwbhp.  Probably fast enough for me, but there again I do now get free prescriptions  :ninja:

Jan appears to be talking about acceleration....

Is it a standard bike? Maybe it's had some performance enhancing work, but if it's still weighs 300+ Kg + passengers and luggage it will never be v fast :-) Add ballast maybe :-)

There is plenty of post test "advanced" riding training available, I personally try to do some training every year or so. Not sure about Dublin...

Just enjoy yourself at your own pace and enjoy the Emerald Isle :-)

fifth gear did an article on the benefits of the premium and ordinary fuels,no difference ,infact if i remember corrctley in some cases the premium fuel did less mpg and was down on power output to the ordinary fuel. i also think it is a rip off!!!

YouTube video posted earlier in thread

Turbo charged car produced more BHP on higher octane fuel. Car compression ratio probably less than 'GTR's 10:1 (some bikes are more than 13:1) but lower compression ratio is normal on vehicles with forced induction. USA racers suggest 100 octane (104.8 Euro) in 10:1 engines.

Doesn't look like there'll be much of a viewing angle on the left hand side should some pleb decide to pull out on you from a junction but only trial and error will tell.

Personally I shoot video for the enjoyment of it, I haven't got the "dash cam" mentality. Not really interested in expecting an accident :-( proving it's someone else's fault is not my  priority.

No. ! is hopefully not getting into the situation in first place....
