As with everything you do, simply ask yourself what the world would be like if everybody else would be doing it too.
A lot of thing don't seem so funny any more after that but rather stupid.

Hey mecki, do you work at being a boring miserable twat? or does it come naturally?? :whistling: you always seem to make every effort to piss on everyones fire!!!!! :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol: :asshole:

1400GTR Discussion / 10/10 Kawasaki GB
May 22, 2012, 05:10:28 PM
When I got my GTR in Feb I ordered a top box with colour coded cover from Kawasaki GB web site, it arrived very quickly so quite pleased. The only issue I had was the colour match, it wasn't bad and I sort of excepted it. I posted on there forum page that I was generally happy with the product but the colour match could be better.
Last week I get an email out of the blue from Kawasaki saying that as I was not totally happy with the cover they were sending me a replacement, free of charge and say the colour match should be a lot better.

It arrived today and it is spot on  and they don't want the other one returned.

so a big thumbs up to Kawasaki GB from me :punk:

We did as part of a bigger eurotour but you can do it from Calais comfortably in 2 days, it's only just over 700 miles, even not using motorways with a bit of hard riding it can be done in 2 very long days.

There are some knowledgable guys on here but a built in microfiche maybe optamistic, you never know tho, maybe your dealer could help you

i googled the part number and got this ebay link

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/KAWASAKI-HIGH-SCREEN-GTR-1400-203WSC0008-/190474500688

If you have not actually seen the problem, which if it is as bad as stated I would have thought the mechanic should have called you in to show you before reassembly, are you 100% sure Tim is not after a bit of work???

But if he is a so called advanced rider, he should know that riding that close, at that speed is plainly wrong. Then to say he does it to get better footage for his camera, is bordering on criminal.

Can see your point BUT!!! if we all rode to the 'rule' book, riding a motorbike would be sooooo boring! :sleep1:

I haven't ridden the B500 but checked it out on google and can't see what could be so exiting about it. :ohplease:
:listencarefully: Looks rather straight and boring to me.
And getting caught speeding in Germany is very expensive!
Especially for me since I ride on a German license and could easily loose it doing silly speeds over there.

come ride it, me thinks you will change your mind

ooooh yes... the B500... gives me goosey bumps that road..  :gunsmilie:

:punk: sure does :agree: we were on it at Easter and it was deserted due to the cold weather, ran the length of it 6 times getting up to some silly speeds

Following a very succesful trip(even with the snow) at Easter, I am running a little bimble back down to The Black Forrest. It is limited to 6 bikes and there are 3 places still available.

Will be leaving early doors on Sunday the 3rd via Eurotunnel (£55 return), riding 400 miles (approx 200 on Mway) to Kaiserslautern via Prum, Cochem and the Mosel.
Will check into the hotel for 2 nights (£104.76 Double room for 2 nights)

Monday 4th is "play day" we will ride approx 300 miles on some of the most awesume roads in The Black Forrest including the infamous B500

Tuesday 5th will be a reverse of Sunday back home.

So far there is me and the better half on a GTR, Nick on a ZZR and Martin on a ZR10(I think)

This will be quite an aggresive :nono: medium/fast pace (wife put her foot down ), the roads are quite technical and don't take any prisoners so not a ride for the inexperienced.
No worrying about getting lost, once off the train all you need to do is follow me, simples!

So, if you fancy it, let me know and I will give you the booking details.

Tyre used to be really good, hopefully it is still OK with Tom Tom, as it no longer works properly on a Garmin

I have just tried it for the first time, works fine with my TomTom rider2, makes programing very easy
