You can buy them from PVL www.vehiclechevrons.com but are expensive.
I didn't want a lot but I was still quoted £180 plus £12 delivery

So this is what I did...
I bought a 610mm x 1mtr sheet of Nikkalite Crystal Grade Flexible 92844 Fluo Yellow/Green Reflective from www.victorydesign.co.uk/_/nikkalite-crystal-grade and cut them myself.. I made templates from cereal boxes to get the shape I wanted before cutting them out. It is the same quality as they use on the South Wales :police: vehicles
With postage it was about £40.
I still need to get some chevrons for the rear of the panniers... Looking at this..

But, if they are not looking, they aren't going to see you.
Police Motorcycliists have told me, that even when on blues and twos, people pull out....

Agreed SirTou
To see you, they have to be looking in the first place, which is the problem

I have thought about putting the lights in the mirrors.
I just popped out to pick up some meds.. Car drivers were avoiding me more than usual. While riding down our road with parked cars both sides, car drivers gave way to me instead of forcing their way through like they normally do. :mfr_lol:
Nice bit of bling there........anyway, how you getting on with that cover, does it work well ?
The cover is awesome thanks.
Where did you get it to save me hunting through the posts, thinking about one for here in France. Sorted
Hi Deb's,
fancy doing a trade in the templates you made from cereal boxes?
After going to all that hard work I would hate to have to reinvent the wheel to achieve the results you have - I think it actually makes the bike look better and fancy doing the same to mine :)

Baby is back together, just waiting for some red to come to finish off the rear of the
panniers
I will get a pic tomorrow of how she looks so far
I must say that drivers tend to be giving way to me more than before.. I even had a guy in a car stop and let me out of the driveway where I live. Never happened before. :mfr_lol:
Sounds really promising Deb's...
Here are the rears already cut out..
Once I get the red it will be stuck over at an angle.. Pics will follow...

Is that all out of a single sheet of the reflective stuff?
Don't need to do the red on the rear as I already have that sorted....
Yes Pete it is.. I still have a bit left for repairs if needed..
The red needs to be 100mm wide to look good.
I can help you do them if you want..
Will certainly appreciate your assistance and templates once I buy the plastic....probably won't be until the new year now with so much going on :-)
You know, Debs, that lime green ZX14 fender would go nicely with that color colur colour scheme.

Good job Debs! Myself, I'm a sceptic in that it's not that "they" don't see us, they just don't have the perception in their brains (or they are on their bloody mobile phone). Recently here one of our club members summed it up "I drive a B-Double (lorry), and they don't see me either". So to me it doesn't really matter how much bling I put on, or Hi-Viz gear, it won't change a bloody thing. Only solution is I think, saturate the roads with bikes, and "their" perception will improve
