Lol.  The wife hates bikes, but I'm sure her and the kids will go.

Heading off tomorrow morning. Should be there for 10.30ish and then all day to spend looking at motorbikes. Does it get any better?  ;D

Whatever you do just look at the motorbikes and don't be tempted to oggle at all those lovely promotion girls  ;D ;D
Enjoy !

The Ducati promotion girls were lovely  :)

A very good show. The Honda Cross Tourer looks like a bike to keep an eye on. Purchased some Held Warm 'n' Dry gloves for £100. Kawasaki had the 2011 GTR models on display, with the poor panniers kicked to death. Staff more interested in signing you up to the Kawasaki Owners Club than listening to constructive criticism.

Could do with another day there tbh.

Hi All,

For several years ive attended the Bike Show and was a little disappointed with Kawasaki!

In previous years i have to agree ive spent more time at the BMW stand but having purchased my first GTR1400 only 3 weeks ago, after seven BMW's on the trott, i was keen to see the kawasaki bikes, their stand and merchandise. I was approached by a staff member who was only interested in me joining the Kawasaki Owners Club. I had only one question for him about my GTR and that was to do with the Back box on my bike bouncing around like its on a trampoline. All he could do was constantly look over my shoulder and look for the next person to try and persude to join the kawasaki club.

For the second time i asked him if he was aware of a back box problem! he replied that i was the first person to tell him and he didnt really believe that there was an issue. I took him over to the GTR's on the stand and the Green GTR had a rear box on and i put a little pressure on that box and it started to wobble. He went over to one of his colleagues, shoulders started to shrug and that was it! My impression was they were not even interested!!!

So when I left the kawasaki stand i was a little underwhelmed and Its a real shame that feedback isnt taken on board. Some people may think that maybe a question about the rear box isnt that important but i didnt even bother to tell them my pride and joy is back in Kawasaki getting warranty work done on it. (Faulty ECU)

So, am i glad I swapped my BMW,  ::)

I enjoyed the show though and hope you all enjoyed it as well and maybe there will be some positive messages about Kawasaki put on here which i will watch out for with keen interest.

That was my impression as well. All they were interested in were getting you signed up to the Kawasaki Owners Club. As much as I hate to say it, the Honda stand was brilliant. All questions answered, even if it ment the staff having to find someone more knowledgeable than themselves.

A pretty poor effort from Kawasaki. Having said that, my mate said Honda were pretty poor a couple of years ago and they managed to turn it around yesterday.
