Quick update on this matter.  Solicitors have been involved from both sides, and as is the norm with solicitors, after many letters it is resolved.  I am victorious. It was obvious where the boundary line was, the funny thing was that even when their solicitor turned up to have a look at it, even he said that the boundary line was where I thought it was. Bit of a win, win situation that.   ;D
The Son from next door is now officially the biggest prick I know and to save face he is keeping a low profile.

Nice one. I'd now brick up to the boundary line and get them to move their bins off your property  ;D

My legal advice, and all the letters etc cost the grand sum of £30.
My wife discovered that we had an add on, on our house insurance which covered us for neighbour disputes. The £30 was the excess for the claim and to cover the admin side of things to see if the claim was viable for the underwriters to back, which it was.
I cant complain at £30 to resolve this matter. Some solicitors would have deliberately dragged it on for months, if not years!

NB, the bins belong to the grumpy fart & the strip of land they are on belongs to the woman who lives next door to me. I cant see either now from behind my 6' + wall ;D
